Budget cutting with a judicial guarantee: as a plunderer of a national project, Sergei Buzun sells the verdict in the Bolkhov court

Observers are following with great interest the development of the trial in
Bolkhovsky District Court in a criminal case against the General Director of LLC «SBK-Group» Sergei Buzun.

He is accused of embezzling more than 16 million rubles during the improvement of the «Bolkhovkin Meadow» park and the surrounding area.

The money was allocated as part of the national project «Housing and urban environment» from the federal budget.

They say that Sergei Buzun in narrow circles boasts that he has resolved the issue with judge Elena Reznikova and the chairman of the court. And the maximum he faces is a suspended sentence.

Thus, Buzun wants to actually evade responsibility and leave the courtroom after 2 years of comfortable house arrest.

We will observe and keep you informed of the court’s decision. And next time we advise Sergei Buzun, if he solves «issues, then do it quietly, and not blow on every corner.  Otherwise, you can end up in a pre-trial detention center under Article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
